A new sweater.

Before our vacation in September, I decided to make a sweater for Bug. Sadly, my gauge was off a bit and it wasn't roomy, as I was picturing it to be. She loves it, though, and I have ideas for the next one. :)

Over the summer, my daughter started reading the Harry Potter books. She is pretty much obsessed with them, now. It seemed obvious that she would be Hermione Granger for Halloween. We bought some items for the costume, but she most definitely needed an hand-knit sweater. I made a hat & mittens because the weather was a bit chilly.

I also made the Gryffindor house bag that she's got on in the photo with the robe. I don't seem to have a photo of the finished bag, but she LOVES it! On Halloween she got a lot of compliments on her costume, and one mom wanted to know if I was selling the bags. Um. No.
